Technology Update
February Technology Update: Stronger Engagement, Smarter Integration
At moneyGPS, continuous platform enhancement is central to delivering compliant, scalable digital advice experiences for our partners.
This month’s technology update introduces enhanced consent functionality, portfolio upgrades, member rewards integration and AI-powered user guidance. All designed to strengthen engagement while maintaining compliance and control.
Enhanced Client Consent Functionality
Following partner feedback, we have introduced a new opt-in consent feature that allows users to share their platform information with the referring business, whether accountant, financial planner or employer.
Users can:
- Opt-in during account creation.
- Provide consent later within their profile settings.
- Withdraw consent at any time.
For Management Console subscribers, consented user data can be accessed securely via the Audience Engagement section. This includes the ability to download reports and Statements of Advice generated within the platform.
This enhancement strengthens transparency, improves collaboration and ensures all engagement remains privacy-led and user controlled.
Savings and Investment SOA Upgrade
As part of our ongoing Approved Product List review process, we have introduced a new portfolio manager for Savings and Investment Statements of Advice.
Savings and Investment SOAs will now recommend Franklin Templeton portfolios, accessed via the PartnerVest platform, where appropriate.
Advice documentation has been updated to reflect these changes, ensuring consistency, compliance and alignment with current portfolio structures.
Introducing moneyGPS Advantage
moneyGPS has partnered with a national rewards provider to launch moneyGPS Advantage, a member rewards program offering access to discounts across everyday spending categories including groceries, health and wellbeing, automotive, retail and more.
Key benefits include:
- Complimentary access for all moneyGPS users.
- 24/7 support.
- Average annual savings of approximately $2,000.
The integration is seamless. When a user creates a moneyGPS account, they automatically gain access, no separate registration required.
This enhancement adds immediate, tangible value for members while strengthening long-term engagement.
AI Integration Within the Money Check-Up Journey
To further enhance the user experience, moneyGPS has integrated AI agents into the Money Check-Up journey.
At the conclusion of a Check-Up, users can interact with an AI agent to ask questions about:
- Their analysis results
- Financial planning concepts
- Financial wellness topics
These AI agents:
- Are trained in RG146 compliance standards.
- Are aligned with moneyGPS documentation and advice rules.
- Do not provide personal financial advice.
- Can triage complex queries to a human GPS Coach.
This integration ensures consistent, scalable support while maintaining clear regulatory boundaries.
Supporting Scalable, Compliant Growth
These enhancements reflect our continued commitment to strengthening the partner experience and supporting accounting firms as they expand their digital advice capability.
