Inside the moneyGPS Partner Onboarding Experience
At moneyGPS, we take a structured and collaborative approach to onboarding new partners to ensure every launch is seamless and every team is confident in delivering digital advice. Our goal is to empower partners with the knowledge, tools, and support they need to engage their audience effectively.
For the moneyGPS platform, onboarding begins with Onboarding Part 1, the initial meeting with a GPS Onboarding Specialist. During this session, the specialist guides the partner through the subscription signup process, helps create their accounts, outlines subscription inclusions, and asks key questions to ensure service offerings are activated efficiently. The session also provides an opportunity to discuss the moneyGPS platform, its features, and available product and service options.
From there, we tailor each partner’s moneyGPS platform by applying their branding, adding preferred service provider links (if applicable to the subscription tier chosen), creating an additional webpage known as the moneyGPS Partner Portal with co-branded design elements, and setting up a series of branded marketing program EDM templates. Optional training sessions are available to help staff or team members understand the Check-Up process, Statements of Advice available, and the complete user journey on the digital advice platform. This ensures they are well equipped to support their audience if questions arise, even though engagement is primarily driven through the moneyGPS marketing program. Ongoing check-ins ensure confidence in the platform’s use and messaging.

Onboarding Part 2: Q&A with a moneyGPS Coach (30 minutes)
A dedicated session with one of our expert coaches to answer questions about our financial advice services, the user experience, and the overall journey on the moneyGPS platform.
For the moneyGPS SMSF platform, onboarding focuses on educating partners on how to use the SMSF Check-Up with their existing audience. We guide the partner team through each step, from producing reports to positioning the service as part of their annual SMSF review. This ensures consistency, professionalism, and a high-quality experience for both partners and their SMSF audience.
Best Practice delivery means clear communication, prompt follow-up after every meeting, and proactive support from our onboarding and coaching teams. Each partner is left equipped to deliver exceptional, compliant, and scalable digital advice that aligns with their brand and audience promise.
